The Legendary Largemouth Bass is a Legendary Fish in Red Dead Redemption 2, based on the largemouth bass, Micropterus salmoides. It is a rare, oversized version of the species, estimated to grow beyond fifty inches and weigh more than twenty pounds. It is one of the thirteen Legendary Fish found across the game world.
This fish inhabits the San Luis River in Hennigan's Stead, New Austin. Its fishing spot lies on the riverbank southeast of Lake Don Julio. Rainy weather and a Special River Lure are the conditions associated with attracting it, as with ordinary largemouth bass.
The Legendary Largemouth Bass is caught by fishing rather than through a hunt. It can be taken independently, or caught while completing the Stranger quest "A Fisher of Fish." Among largemouth bass, it is the rare Legendary specimen sought at the San Luis River.
