Player notes
The Legendary White Bison is a legendary albino bison in Red Dead Redemption 2. Its white coat sets it apart from other bison, and it feeds on grains, hay and corn. It lives in the northern mountains of Ambarino, in Grizzlies West, and its hunting ground lies at the north end of Lake Isabella.
As a large bison, it is best suited to high impact weapons when hunted. A Bow with Improved Arrows or a long scope rifle are effective choices against it. Like other legendary animals, it yields a perfect pelt regardless of the weapon used. Tracking and skinning the animal provides the Legendary White Bison Pelt, Legendary Bison Horn and a Prime Beef Joint.
The Legendary White Bison Pelt is taken to the Trapper for pieces in The Ghost Bison Garment Set. The Legendary Bison Horn is used at a Fence to craft the Bison Horn Talisman. This talisman slows the rate at which the stamina core drains.
Trivia
- โDespite this bison being male, the Trapper will refer it is as "her" when given the pelt, possibly due to an oversight.
- โThis is one of two legendary bison to appear in Story Mode, with the other being the Legendary Tatanka Bison.
