About this weapon
The Pump-Action Shotgun is a high-powered, traditional Lancaster Pump Shotgun. Its pump-action mechanism makes it slower to fire than most other shotguns, but it reloads quickly and easily. It carries five shells and uses Shotgun Ammo, including Regular Buckshot, Incendiary Buckshot, Slug and Explosive Slug loads.
All gunsmiths sell the weapon for $148 after "Pouring Forth Oil" in Chapter 2. It can also be taken free from a weapon case at Chez Porter, at the top of the ladder in the master bedroom. The same gun can be collected there during "Rob a Homestead" with Javier Escuella.
Owners of the Special or Ultimate editions can obtain it free from every gunsmith after Chapter 1. Its accuracy is average, though it remains dependable at close range. The game positions it for fights with men or dangerous animals when its heavier shotgun fire is needed.

- โThis weapon is based on the real life Winchester Model 1897 but with a shorter 18-20" inch barrel. This is known as the riot version of the gun.
- โSusan Grimshaw uses the weapon in several story cutscenes, including the death of Molly O'Shea and her own murder at the hands of Micah Bell.
