El Vapid Stanier es un sedán grande de cuatro puertas con capacidad para cuatro ocupantes en Grand Theft Auto V y Grand Theft Auto Online. Aparece como un coche civil y establece el nombre Stanier para un modelo que antes se veía mediante vehículos de servicio. Su diseño de llantas de serie también se utiliza en el Minivan, mientras que Taxi, Police Cruiser, Sheriff Cruiser y Unmarked Cruiser emplean la versión posterior de segunda generación.
En Grand Theft Auto V, los Stanier circulan por Strawberry y a veces aparecen en Richman. En Grand Theft Auto Online son habituales en Strawberry y Rockford Hills, y también pueden verse por Vinewood Hills, West Vinewood y Cypress Flats. Southern San Andreas Super Autos vende el sedán por $10,000. El coche fue retirado de esa tienda con la actualización San Andreas Mercenaries y regresó con la actualización Money Fronts.
El Stanier comparte buena parte de su comportamiento con el Police Cruiser de segunda generación. Su V8 twin-cam modificado le da una velocidad máxima superior a la media, y conserva bien la inercia al tomar curvas cerradas a velocidad, aunque la carrocería se inclina de forma visible. La tracción trasera permite deslizarlo con potencia al entrar en las curvas. También resiste varios impactos directos en el chasis, la transmisión y la suspensión.

- ◆The Stanier's Southern San Andreas Super Autos description references an issue in early models of the second generation Crown Victoria, which caused fatal instances of explosions and fires after high-speed impacts. This was mitigated when Ford began to offer a fire suppression system from factory.
- ◆The website's description also references the Crown Victoria's legacy as a fleet vehicle. The Crown Victoria was widely used by police and taxicab services from the 1990s into the 2010s and usually was equipped with the police package.
- ◆Similar to the Gresley, the Stanier could be named after a famous locomotive engineer, William Stanier, who was best known for his designs for the London, Midland and Scottish Railway.
- ◆Being the civilian variant of a taxi and a police car, the Stanier effectively fills the role previously slotted by the 3D Universe rendition of the Premier, previously seen in GTA San Andreas.

This Stanier also had the same equipment as the version found in GTA IV, which means it was probably just re-skinned. This suggests that the first-generation Stanier cruiser may have been initially intended to appear in GTA V but was replaced later in development by the second generation Police Cruiser.
