Le Stanley Tractor est un véhicule utilitaire monoplace à conducteur assis, présenté comme une vieille machine agricole usée. Sa carrosserie rouillée abrite un moteur avant partiellement couvert, un siège conducteur nu en acier, d'étroites roues avant et de grandes roues arrière aux profondes sculptures pour terrain meuble, sous des garde-boue arrière. Son design s'inspire des tracteurs du début des années 1920, tandis que son long empattement et sa position de conduite rappellent des modèles plus tardifs des années 1930.

Il compte parmi les véhicules les plus lents de Grand Theft Auto V et Grand Theft Auto Online. Le manque d'entretien l'a rendu peu performant, avec un faible couple et peu de puissance, et il peine à trouver de l'adhérence et à prendre de la vitesse. Son moteur bruyant et archaïque entraîne les roues arrière via une boîte de vitesses à trois rapports. Bien qu'il ne soit pas un véhicule pratique sur route, sa configuration agricole convient aux terrains meubles, et le conducteur peut utiliser un Sawed-off Shotgun lors de fusillades en voiture.

Un Tractor standard est généralement garé près de la maison d'Ursula, à côté de El Gordo Lighthouse, et peut rarement apparaître près d'un petit entrepôt dans des terres agricoles, près de chemins menant à la voie ferrée. Michael reçoit le Epsilon Tractor, plus propre, après Unknowing the Truth s'il donne l'argent à l'Epsilon Program. Dans Online, il se débloque comme véhicule Pegasus au Arena War Sponsorship Tier 1000. Un Tractor apparaît également dans la publicité télévisée de Pißwasser.

Anecdotes

◆A static version of the (with a different grille and body texture) was cut from Manhunt 2. The model was originally used in the removed ending cutscene of , replaced by a pre-rendered cutscene video in the final version.
◆A Tractor is also featured in the Pißwasser advert on the in-game TV.
◆Given its close resemblance to a Fordson Tractor, it is the oldest usable vehicle in the game. This makes it older than the Roosevelt.
◆Despite having metal wheels, when the player is driving at top speed and presses the handbrake, tire sounds can be heard and tire marks will also appear on the asphalt. This can also be seen if driving over grass or soil. Even during normal driving, tire screeching sounds can be heard when tightly cornering.
◆Its distorted horn is similar to the beater vehicles' horns.
◆If the player holds the horn button while on a Tractor, the protagonist will press the horn repeatedly rather than holding it down.

◆The vehicle's engine model is loosely based on what would be a V16, evidenced by the spark plug configuration. Realistically, V16s would not fit in such a vehicle, however if the vehicle was to use a twin-spark configuration, it would more fittingly be a straight-8 cylinder engine.
