O tym pojeździe

Submersible to jednoosobowa łódź podwodna z klasy Boats. Jej zwarta konstrukcja ma zaokrąglone przednie okno obserwacyjne, zewnętrzną osłonę z metalowych rur, przednie światła, pontony balastowe pod kabiną oraz zbiorniki i przewody po bokach. Tylną śrubę napędza silnik elektryczny. Pionowe stery nad i pod śrubą pozwalają prowadzić pojazd pod wodą. W ulepszonych wersjach dochodzą limonkowozielone pasy i dodatkowe boczne lampy.

Submersible służy do podróży pod wodą, a nie do szybkiej jazdy. Może zejść na głębokość około 150 metrów, zanim pojawią się ostrzeżenia o ciśnieniu. Niżej kadłub zaczyna odnosić uszkodzenia, a pozostawanie poniżej około 168 metrów kończy się implozją pojazdu. Zapas tlenu wystarcza na około 24 godziny czasu gry. Bez załogi dryfuje po morzu. Po wyjściu z niego użytkownik zakłada Scuba Suit.

W Grand Theft Auto V Submersible pojawia się w Sonar Collections Dock po zakupie tego miejsca i służy do zbierania beczek z odpadami nuklearnymi. Trevor kradnie go ze statku w Minisub, a następnie przeszukuje nim wodę w obu wariantach The Merryweather Heist. Po wybraniu podejścia Offshore kolejny stoi przy wieży ciśnień na Sandy Shores Airfield. W Grand Theft Auto Online może pojawić się w Sonar Collections Dock, niedaleko Humane Labs and Research, przy Marina albo w Los Santos Naval Port na Elysian Island.

Ciekawostki

◆Exiting the Submersible while it is submerged will cause the vessel to rise to the surface, requiring the player to swim up to it to re-board (changed by patch from previous behavior, where exiting the sub underwater made it unusable).
◆In the original versions of the game, the Submersible lacks a radio.
◆Cinematic view cannot be used while in a Submersible.
◆At the top of the tail and on the sides (near the front) of the Submersible, "4R53" is written as some form of identification number. This can be Leet translated to "ARSE". The same is seen on the Kraken.
◆Although there is no interior dials listed in the files, the gauges are just variations of dials found in basic aircraft. The same applies to the Kraken.
◆The Submersible the player acquires in The Merryweather Heist is much more durable than normal and is able to go to the lowest point allowed in the ocean, around 0.15 miles.
◆If the player has the invincibility cheat activated when reaching the "crush depth", it will be deactivated. Attempts to activate the cheat again when this happens will be met with a message stating that they cannot enter the cheat at this time.
