Chef é o cozinheiro de crystal meth da Trevor Philips Enterprises, embora seu nome verdadeiro nunca seja revelado. Ele entra em Grand Theft Auto V no laboratório de metanfetamina de Trevor em Sandy Shores, enquanto Trevor se reúne com os Los Santos Triads. Depois que o confronto anterior de Trevor com Ortega leva os Aztecas ao laboratório, Chef pega em armas ao lado dele e ajuda a expulsar os invasores. Ele trabalha com Trevor, Ron Jakowski e Wade Hebert na operação de Trevor, e tem voz de Anthony Cumia.

Após Blitz Play, Chef entra em contato com Trevor e oferece seus serviços como atirador. Ele se sai bem durante a fuga e sobrevive ao golpe. Quando a equipe deixa o banco, Michael reconhece para Trevor que o homem dele é bom.

Chef também pode ser contratado para The Big Score. Na abordagem sutil, ele pode proteger o ouro no roubo ao Union Depository sem perder barras se for o primeiro atirador, ou atuar como segundo sem criar problemas. Na abordagem óbvia, ele cumpre bem qualquer uma das funções e, como segundo atirador, ajuda a equipe a enfrentar a polícia durante a fuga de Los Santos. Ele permanece vivo após os golpes.

◆In the subtle approach of The Big Score, if he is placed as the first gunman, while he is loading the Gauntlets, he makes a little reference to the gold classification in the periodic table, saying, "Gold, Au, Atomic number: 79".
◆Chef probably believes Ron's conspiracy theory about lizard people taking the form of humans to work for the government as he shouts about the cops being lizard people if he is the second gunman for The Big Score - Obvious.
◆Unlike most of Trevor's associates, Chef doesn't seem to be afraid, or even intimidated by Trevor.
◆Chef will sometimes be found on the second floor of Liquor Ace outside of missions as a normal pedestrian. If interacted with, the player will use a default greeting. He can also be killed, but will always respawn.
◆He doesn't talk to the player in response, despite knowing Trevor.
◆Even though he's unlocked as a gunman from "The Paleto Score" onwards, he's not available to hire for The Bureau Raid, probably out of loyalty to Trevor.

◆Simply being known as Chef is maybe a reference to the character Phil "The Chef" Bushey from Stephen King's novel Under The Dome, as Bushey also cooks and samples his own batches of meth in the novel.
