Vapid Hotknife представляет собой двухдверный hot rod класса Muscle на двух человек. В Grand Theft Auto V и Grand Theft Auto Online его облик основан на kit car с пакетом Speedstar Fender Package, который, в свою очередь, восходит к сильно переделанному 1933 Ford Model A Hot Rod. Название также обыгрывает выражение "hot rod."
У Hotknife хромированная решетка, круглые фары, широкие крылья и боковые выхлопные трубы. Крышка двигателя и крылья относятся к дополнительным элементам, поэтому у некоторых машин видны двигатель, опорные рамы и проводка. Он встречается в двухцветной окраске и использует салон Peyote с большим аналоговым прибором. Карбюраторный V8 с одним распредвалом дает ему громкий звук muscle car.
В оригинальной версии Grand Theft Auto V владельцы Collector's Edition получают Hotknife в гараже каждого протагониста. В версиях enhanced Legendary Motorsport продает его за $90,000, а для владельцев Collector's Edition он бесплатен. В версии Expanded and Enhanced для Online машина также доступна бесплатно. Разгон и максимальная скорость средние для класса Muscle, но сильная недостаточная поворачиваемость, слабые тормоза и неустойчивость при столкновениях мешают ей в потоке машин.
