In Shady Belle schickt Leopold Strauss Arthur Morgan wegen eines weiteren unbezahlten Kredits los. Der Schuldner ist Algie Davison, ein Fischer, der bei Catfish Jacksons lebt. Arthurs Husten unterbricht das Gespräch, bevor er sich auf den Weg zu dem Anwesen macht.
Arthur findet Algie schlafend am Wasser bei Catfish Jacksons. Algie wacht auf und führt ihn ins Haus, wobei er behauptet, die Schulden zu begleichen. In der Küche weist Algie seinen Sohn Nate an, ein Getränk zuzubereiten, während er unter der Spüle nach einer Geldkassette sucht. Arthur kann den Tee annehmen oder Algie die leere Kassette abnehmen. Beide Reaktionen entlarven Algies Täuschung, woraufhin er Arthur angreift, manchmal mit einem Messer.
Arthur streckt Algie nieder, während Nate in sein Schlafzimmer rennt. Drinnen findet Arthur Nate, der sich unter dem Bett versteckt. Nate fleht ihn an und gibt dann zu, dass er Geld vor seinem Vater in seiner Fußtruhe versteckt hat. Arthur nimmt das Geld und verlässt Catfish Jacksons, um mit Strauss' Eintreibung nach Shady Belle zurückzukehren.

- ◆When Strauss assigns this mission, Arthur can be seen noticeably coughing, foreshadowing his later diagnosis with tuberculosis.
- ◆It is possible to kill or knockout Algie while he is still sitting near the river, then ask Nate for the money location later.
- ◆Players can also kill or knockout both Algie and Nate and collect the money inside Nate's foot locker directly.
- ◆Both actions will result in a loss of honor.
- ◆If the player robs Catfish Jacksons beforehand, Algie will recognize them and comment on it during this mission.
- ◆Sometimes, a bug may occur where neither Algie nor Nate spawn, regardless of whether the player has already robbed the house or not. In this case, upon reaching the property, the mission will simply prompt the player to search the house for the debt money. The player can walk to the chest beside the bed, retrieve the money, and the mission will be completed.
