Emperor (HD Universe)

The Albany Emperor is a full-size, four-door sedan with room for four people. In Grand Theft Auto V, it keeps the boxy shape of an 1980s American luxury sedan, though its black eggcrate grille, black side mirrors and lack of whitewall tyres make it plainer than the earlier version. It has a long body, chrome window trim and a large boot.

The Emperor uses a low-revving V8 with modest power and decent torque. Its acceleration and top speed are unremarkable beside other sedans, while its low stance can scrape on uneven ground or leave it caught where shorter cars can pass. At higher speeds it may fishtail, but the long wheelbase gives it a chance to recover from a slide. A performance-focused suspension improves its handling.

The sedan is most often seen in Downtown Los Santos, Vinewood, East Vinewood and Rockford Hills, and one can be parked beside the Vanilla Unicorn. In Grand Theft Auto Online, it appears around South Los Santos and sometimes in Vinewood Hills. Its weight, torque and durable body let it carry four people, tackle rougher routes and force through police roadblocks with momentum.
