Primo (HD Universe)

The Albany Primo is a four-door midsize sedan in Grand Theft Auto V and Grand Theft Auto Online, seating four people. It carries over much of the model's GTA IV design, with revised interior details and rear window treatment. The cabin uses the Schafter interior shared with other midsize sedans, including the Asea and Asterope. Its paint can combine primary and secondary exterior colours, while interior stitching follows the primary colour.

The Primo is a durable but unremarkable sedan. It withstands collisions well and holds a competitive position among similarly priced cars, yet most comparable sedans outperform it. Its V8 engine gives it a respectable turn of speed, but acceleration and handling remain poor. The car leans heavily through turns, its brakes are weak, and its rear can swing out sharply. Smooth steering produces wide corners, making it better suited to ordinary city travel than fast escapes.

A Primo appears at the Port of Los Santos and is used during the Smart approach to The Jewel Store Job. In Pulling Favors, a white-and-black two-tone Primo must be recovered, though its engine will not start; it can still be stored in a garage. A unique-coloured example is left near St. Brigid Baptist Church in Paleto Bay after the wedding-groom Random Event. In Online, it spawns near Los Santos Customs and on highways, is sold by Southern San Andreas Super Autos and Benny's Original Motor Works for $9,000, and may be assigned for Tow Truck Service.
