About this vehicle
The Declasse Premier is a four-door sedan with room for four occupants. In Grand Theft Auto V and Grand Theft Auto Online, it carries over the modern compact shape used in Grand Theft Auto IV, with a smoother body than that version. Its revised front grille has three openings, and it uses the Stanier and Taxi interior and instrument cluster in the enhanced version.
The Premier is sold by Southern San Andreas Super Autos for $10,000. The dealership describes it as a car that found greater popularity in Canada than in the United States. Declasse ended its production in 2010, after six years on sale. Examples appear only in single-tone paint finishes and retain the model's six-spoke wheels.
As a sedan, the Premier provides a compact four-door passenger car for ordinary road use. Its body has the broad bumpers, rounded lamp housings and restrained exterior detailing of its GTA IV predecessor, with fewer pronounced lines across the panels. The car's cabin seats a driver and three passengers.
Trivia
- โCoincidentally, the car shares its name with the Premier, which was a full-size four-door sedan produced in Australia by General Motors subsidiary Holden from the 1960s to 1980. It was the slightly higher spec version of the Holden Kingswood. However, due to the in-game Premier being based on the Chevrolet Caprice (3D Universe) and Cobalt (HD Universe), it has no connection to the real world vehicle at all.
- โIt also shares its name with the Eagle Premier, a full-size executive sedan sold in the United States in the late 1980's; though it also shares little in common with the in-game renditions.
