Pony (Smoke On The Water)

The Pony (Smoke On The Water) is a Brute full-size commercial van in the Vans class, with room for four people. It is a light truck version of the regular Pony rather than a separate design, sharing that model's body and handling. Its identifying feature is the Smoke On The Water livery, which appears only on a black-painted van. Some examples also spawn with a roof rack.

Its performance matches the standard Pony exactly, as both vehicles use the same handling data. The Smoke On The Water version therefore drives like the ordinary commercial van instead of receiving a performance change for its business branding. In Grand Theft Auto V, it can appear during a Property Management job after Franklin buys the Smoke On The Water business. The manager sends Franklin after the van when a deliverer has legal trouble, abandons the job, or when a thief takes it.

In Grand Theft Auto Online, the Pony is used during Weed Farm setup work and Weed Delivery missions. It is also awarded free on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC Enhanced versions for completing Tier 4 of Money Fronts in Career Progress. Although it can be owned as a Personal Vehicle, ordinary mod shops cannot modify, upgrade or repair it. The Facility workshop is the exception.
