Ruiner

The Imponte Ruiner is a two-door liftback in the Muscle class, with room for two occupants. It carries the look of a late 1980s muscle coupe, combining cues from several cars of that era. Its sloping nose, side stripes bearing the Ruiner name and three-row tail lights define the shape. In Grand Theft Auto V, it keeps the general GTA IV design but uses four exhaust outlets, revised badges and decals, and a conventional ram air hood option.

The Ruiner costs $10,000. It appears in Rockford Hills, Little Seoul, Strawberry and Davis, and occasionally in Sandy Shores. Driving a Phoenix, Mower or beater Emperor makes it appear more often. A Ruiner can also be acquired during the random event at the Chamberlain Hills petrol station. When Franklin begins Hao's first Street Race, Shift Work, a Ruiner in colour combination 11 appears beside him.

Its fuel-injected V8 sends power to the rear wheels through a five-speed gearbox. Acceleration is strong for its price and its top speed is excellent. Firm but not rigid suspension gives it reliable cornering grip, while the rear can still be eased into a controlled slide under torque. Braking ranks well among Muscle cars. It withstands ordinary impacts reasonably, though several high-speed crashes can leave it stalled.
