Sabre GT (HD Universe)

The Declasse Sabre Turbo is a two-door muscle coupe, also carrying "SABRE GT" badges. It returns from the 3D Universe with an older American muscle-car shape, circular headlights, vertical tail lights and a sectioned grille. Its secondary paint colour forms stripes across the hood, roof, trunk and lower sides, while "SABRE TURBO" lettering sits ahead of the rear wheels. The standard car's chin spoiler and alternate hood treatments can be fitted at Los Santos Customs and other mod shops.

A turbocharged V8 drives the rear wheels through a five-speed semi-automatic manual transmission. The Sabre Turbo has a heavy body, soft suspension and mediocre brakes, and wheelspin is pronounced under acceleration. Its power and tight turning circle nevertheless let it run with newer muscle cars. The weight helps restrain oversteer, makes the car durable and allows it to push other vehicles aside. It uses the aggressive, high-revving engine sound shared with the Gauntlet and Buffalo S.

In Grand Theft Auto V, the Sabre Turbo begins spawning consistently after Trevor completes the Minutemen Strangers and Freaks strand. It appears more often in Downtown Los Santos when another muscle car, such as a Dominator, Gauntlet or Phoenix, is being driven. Modified examples can appear during a Marabunta Grande street race in the Los Santos Storm Drain. In Grand Theft Auto Online, it may appear while driving a Phoenix or Dominator, at The Diamond Casino & Resort, near Lake Vinewood, or rarely on the Great Ocean Highway. The enhanced version is sold by Benny's Original Motor Works for $15,000.
