Sadler

The Vapid Sadler is a Utility-class light truck in Grand Theft Auto V, built as a crew-cab pickup with room for two. Its square, upright body draws on North American full-size pickups, with a Ford-influenced overall shape, a Ford-inspired front end and a split grille resembling the Chevrolet Silverado. A chrome-trimmed rectangular grille, broad bumper, straight body lines, flared arches and industrial wheels give it the appearance of a work vehicle. Parts of its front and rear styling also appear on the Sandking XL, Sandking SWB and Liberator.

The Sadler is among the most common pickups on the roads of San Andreas. It appears as a work truck and can be seen hauling small trailers. Its rear hitch accepts the small utility trailer, Boat Trailer and Anti-Aircraft Trailer. Some spawned examples carry equipment not offered through Los Santos Customs, including a brush guard, bed cover, roll bar, roof marker lights, or a utility rack over the cab and bed. Southern San Andreas Super Autos sells the Sadler for $35,000.

A V8 and five-speed gearbox drive all four wheels. The Sadler has average acceleration and a respectable top speed for its class, while its wide turning circle means sharp corners require early braking. It makes up for that limitation with strong durability. High ground clearance and a torque-heavy engine let it travel off road effectively and pull its own weight up steep slopes, fitting its use as a trailer hauler and general work pickup.
