Sandking XL

The Vapid Sandking XL is an Off-Road class, four-door crew cab pickup with room for four. Its extended wheelbase gives the heavy-duty truck its XL designation. It rides high on a lifted suspension, with blue shock absorbers and springs left visible, large knobby tyres and impact struts running out to the wheels. Its split headlights borrow from several generations of pickup trucks, while the tail lights use cues associated with earlier pickup designs. The beltline lacks the dip found near the mirrors on Vapid F-Series trucks.

A single-cam V8 gives the Sandking XL strong power and torque, allowing it to climb over obstacles and low-profile cars. Its ground clearance and fully working four-wheel drive make it a very capable vehicle away from paved roads. The long wheelbase and heavy body, however, make its turning circle, acceleration and gear changes less effective than those of the Sandking SWB. Grip is limited on the road, and its weight keeps it from being among the most agile off-road vehicles. Suspension upgrades improve its behaviour, while the exposed tyres remain vulnerable to gunfire without bulletproof tyres.

In Grand Theft Auto V, the Sandking XL travels trails around Blaine County and can be found at Del Perro Beach, Joshua Road, Palomino Highlands and beside Del Perro Pier. It can be bought from Southern San Andreas Super Autos for $45,000. One appears after the Cargobob is stolen during the offshore approach to The Merryweather Heist. In Grand Theft Auto Online, it is seen around Sandy Shores and on Senora Way, while modified examples appear at Larry's RV Sales and during "Time To Get Away". A Sandking XL is also parked at Procopio Beach in Fooligan Job: Crop Dustin' when the herbicide Sadler is at Procopio Truck Stop.
