Rancher XL

The Declasse Rancher XL is a four-door, full-size Off-Road SUV with room for four. It is a long-wheelbase version of the Rancher, with a boxier body and a front end resembling a 1980 Suburban. The extended rear compartment has a large tailgate, while vertical rear lights carry over from the two-door model. Its brown interior differs between editions, and its two-tone paint places the primary colour above the secondary one.

All-wheel drive, large wheels and high ground clearance give the Rancher XL decent traction over rough ground. It handles better than the earlier Rancher, but its extra length and weight leave it slower than the two-door version, with weak acceleration and limited hill-climbing ability. Its live-axle suspension is unique among the vehicles. The body is less durable than it appears, as impacts can tear away large exterior parts, making it a poor escape vehicle despite armour upgrades.

In Grand Theft Auto V, the Rancher XL appears around the isolated building at the far southwest of Los Santos International Airport and behind hangars at its southern end. It also turns up in Los Santos traffic, Chamberlain Hills, Strawberry and Braddock Pass in Blaine County. Three worn examples appear during the "Duel" random event. The crew uses one as its getaway vehicle in the Prologue. In Grand Theft Auto Online, it was sold by Southern San Andreas Super Autos for $9,000 and can be used as a Casino Heist departure vehicle when Karim Denz is selected as driver.
