Tropic

The Tropic is a two-seat motor yacht and speedboat in Grand Theft Auto V and Grand Theft Auto Online. Manufactured by Shitzu, it has a compact cabin-cruiser shape: a short, broad hull carries a low black cabin, a swept windscreen, two front seats and rear bench seating. Circular headlights sit at the bow, while the swim step uses metal flooring.

Several preset versions appear, changing details around the bow, rails, deck and cabin. Some carry a wakeboard, spoiler, raised deck or an arch over the cabin. The Tropic uses largely white bodywork with contrasting colours on upper hull sections, dashboard trim, seat details and its propulsion equipment. In the enhanced version, it has analog Truck-style instruments.

The Tropic is available for purchase for $22,000. Twin inboard engines with Z-drive propellers move it at a respectable pace, although it remains behind dedicated speedboats and later additions to the class. Its reduced mass gives it better speed than earlier versions, and its compact size makes it a safer boat for narrow waterways than the Seashark, whose riders can be thrown off in collisions.
