Police Predator

The Police Predator is a four-seat fast patrol motorboat in the Boats class. It succeeds the Predator from the 3D Universe, retaining a speedboat layout while adding radar and communications equipment. In Grand Theft Auto V, it uses the same broad patrol-craft design as its Grand Theft Auto IV version, with a white body, black lower hull and gunwales, LSPD emblems, POLICE markings, a radar frame and a roof lamp that can be switched on or off.

Law enforcement uses the Police Predator as its main vessel on the water. It patrols the coasts of Los Santos and Blaine County, particularly around Fort Zancudo and Los Santos International Airport. It also appears when a wanted player is swimming or travelling by boat with at least a two-star Wanted Level. It does not appear for players using amphibious vehicles or flying over water in aircraft. Entering one in Grand Theft Auto V provides a Carbine Rifle.

Its powerful engines give it strong performance among patrol boats, with reasonable acceleration and little loss of speed in waves or currents. Steering is mild, but the propellers can make it oversteer and produce a poor turning radius. It is also loose while stationary, so it can drift or shift position on the water. In Grand Theft Auto Online, Warstock Cache & Carry sells it for $3,780,000, or $2,835,000 after The Black Box File is completed. During that finale, Police Predators pursue the player after the black box is collected, while others wait at Raton Canyon Bridge above Cassidy Creek.
