Government of San Andreas property markings appear on its barrel. It carries a damage rating of 38, with fire rate 40, accuracy 45 and range 45. Its standard magazine holds 40 rounds.

It is sold through Ammu-Nation for $397,500, without a reputation requirement. El Rubio's mercenaries carry the rifle around Cayo Perico. It can also be obtained as part of the Conspirator loadout sourced for The Cayo Perico Heist, placing it in the hands of players preparing to infiltrate the island.

The Military Rifle occupies the middle of the assault rifle class. It delivers above average damage and a solid rate of fire, but its recoil is high and its accuracy falls behind several competing rifles. Its limited sustained-fire capacity also brings more frequent reloads than many assault rifles, restricting its overall output during prolonged fights.
