Cormorants are birds in Red Dead Redemption 2. The animal is based on the Double-crested cormorant, Nannopterum auritum, and the Neotropic cormorant, Nannopterum brasilianum. Both types appear under the Cormorant name in the game.
They occur around water, with sightings along the Dakota River and Upper Montana River. They are most concentrated in Bayou Nwa, where they can be found at Lagras and along the shore at Shady Belle.
Cormorants provide Cormorant Feathers, Flight Feathers and Gamey Bird Meat. Their carcasses are also collected as Cormorant Carcasses.
