The Legendary Northern Pike is a rare, legendary fish in Red Dead Redemption 2, also known as the Great Tyrant. Hamish Sinclair calls it the "Tyrant" during "The Veteran - II". It is a Northern Pike distinguished from ordinary members of its species by its legendary status and by the estimates made by local people, who place it at around fifty inches long and more than forty pounds.
The fish lives in the waters around O'Creagh's Run, in Grizzlies East, Ambarino. It can only be caught during the stranger mission "The Veteran - II". Hamish's hunt takes place at the lake, where the Tyrant is the fish sought during this part of his story.
Like other Pike, the Legendary Northern Pike is more active under overcast, grey skies. Special Lake Lures are considered the most effective lure for drawing it in. The game uses the fish as the catch connected to Hamish Sinclair's "The Veteran - II" mission.
