Redfin Pickerel

The Redfin Pickerel is a small predatory fish in Red Dead Redemption 2 and Red Dead Online. It inhabits rivers across the southern part of the map, with catches recorded in New Hanover, West Elizabeth, Lemoyne and New Austin. Its fishing spots include Clemens Point, Gill Landing, Stillwater Creek, Quaker's Cove and the mouth of the Upper Montana River.

It is also found along the Lower Dakota River between Painted Sky and Bard's Crossing. Redfin Pickerel are most active in warm, sunny weather. Among fish, they are easy to catch because of their small size. They take food baits readily and favour bread over artificial lures, making bread the preferred bait for this species.

Caught Redfin Pickerel provide Flaky Fish Meat. A catch is required for Survivalist Challenge rank 10. Stories also place a Legendary Redfin Pickerel somewhere near Thieves' Landing.
