Player notes
The Robin is the American robin, Turdus migratorius, a small bird native to a broad range of habitats across the states. It eats insects, grubs, berries and fruit. Robins occur almost everywhere in Red Dead Redemption 2, although they do not appear in Grizzlies West. Their populations are especially high in the northeast and southeast.
Ringneck Creek is a dependable place to find a robin. Birds can appear there throughout the day, with mornings offering a greater chance of seeing one on the waterside rock beneath the "c" in the Ringneck label. A Bow with Small Game Arrows is considered the most effective weapon for hunting these small birds and obtaining a clean kill.
A robin yields a Robin Feather, Flight Feather, Gamey Bird Meat and a Robin Carcass. Its plump meat provides food, while its feathers are used in crafting. A perfect Robin Carcass is required for the stranger mission "A Better World, A New Friend".
