Rock Bass

Rock Bass is a fish species in Red Dead Redemption 2 and Red Dead Online. It lives in clear water throughout the country, appearing in Ambarino, New Hanover, West Elizabeth, Lemoyne and New Austin. It can be caught from rivers including the Dakota River, Little Creek River, Kamassa River and Upper Montana River.

Small Rock Bass stay active near the surface, making them comparatively easy fish to reel in. They feed on a range of food and natural baits, with cheese among their preferred choices. Their activity increases on sunny days, when they can be found moving in clear river water.

Catching a Rock Bass provides Flaky Fish Meat. The fish is also required for Survivalist 10. Fishermen's lore speaks of a Legendary Rock Bass in the quiet woodland of Tall Trees.
