Songbirds are small, colourful tanagers found in Red Dead Redemption 2. The animal covers two species: the red Scarlet Tanager Songbird, Piranga olivacea, and the yellow Western Tanager Songbird, Piranga ludoviciana. They usually gather in flocks and chirp as they move through the world.
They occur across virtually all regions of the map, although they are rare in New Austin and Grizzlies West. Roanoke Valley, within Roanoke Ridge, has the greatest concentration of Songbirds, with birds found in and around the valley.
A Songbird provides Songbird Feathers, Flight Feathers, Gamey Bird Meat and a Songbird Carcass. Its carcass quality is preserved by killing the bird with Small Game Arrows.
