Lenny regresa a Horseshoe Overlook con la noticia de que Micah ha sido arrestado por asesinato en Strawberry y el sheriff Hanley piensa ahorcarlo. Dutch le dice a Arthur Morgan que tendrán que ocuparse de Micah más tarde y le encarga llevar al alterado Lenny a tomar una copa tranquila. Arthur cabalga con Lenny hasta Valentine y entra en Smithfield's Saloon. En la barra, Jeb empieza a burlarse de ellos, pero Arthur consigue que se marche antes de que ambos sigan bebiendo.
Las copas dejan a Arthur cada vez más tambaleante, y Lenny desaparece de su vista varias veces. Arthur lo encuentra arriba, intentando mantener un vaso de chupito sobre la frente, y más tarde lo ve encima de la barra, defendiéndose de dos hombres. Arthur se enfrenta a ellos, pero la noche se disuelve entre baile en fila y lagunas. Tras orinar fuera, Arthur vuelve a un saloon donde todos le parecen Lenny. Lenny por fin lo encuentra, y el reencuentro acaba en una pelea de bofetadas entre borrachos.
Jeb vuelve y le quita la bebida a Arthur, que lo agarra. Fuera, Arthur y Lenny sostienen a Jeb sobre un abrevadero hasta que escapa o queda inconsciente. Llegan los agentes de la ley, arrestan a Lenny y persiguen a Arthur por Valentine. Si Arthur logra huir, despierta con resaca cerca de Flatneck Station. Si la ley lo atrapa, él y Lenny pagan la fianza en la cárcel de Valentine, donde Lenny vomita en la calle antes de que se separen.

- ◆When Arthur looks for Lenny whilst extremely drunk, one of the misspellings of Lenny's name on the messed-up button prompts is "Lemmy", which is possibly a reference to Lemmy Kilmister, the late frontman of English metal band Motörhead.
- ◆Other misspellings include:

- ◆"Greet" can become "Gret", "Great", "Grate", "Crate" and "teerG".

- ◆This mission is one of the very few missions that display full nudity in the game, which happens when Arthur sees a couple having sex if he opens the wrong door while looking for Lenny.
- ◆If Arthur opens the door when lightly drunk (while looking for Lenny for the first or second time) he will close it while apologizing to the angry couple and chuckling to himself.
- ◆If Arthur opens the door when very drunk (when looking for Lenny for the third time) he will see Lenny's head and skin color superimposed over the couple and scream in terror before shutting the door. Doing this will complete one of the Gold Medal Objectives ("Catch Lenny in the act").
- ◆Jeb is later seen harassing Sadie in the Epilogue mission "Gainful Employment" - seems he never learns.
- ◆When riding into Valentine with Lenny, if the player antagonizes an NPC enough to make them hostile, Lenny will pull out his revolver and shoot them dead.
