Player notes

Lenny returns to Horseshoe Overlook with news that Micah has been arrested for murder in Strawberry and faces hanging by Sheriff Hanley. Dutch tells Arthur Morgan that Micah must be dealt with later, then sends him to take the agitated Lenny for a quiet drink. Arthur rides with Lenny to Valentine and enters Smithfield's Saloon. At the bar, Jeb begins needling them, but Arthur makes him leave before the pair continue drinking.

The drinks leave Arthur increasingly unsteady, and Lenny repeatedly disappears from sight. Arthur finds him upstairs balancing a shot glass on his forehead, then later sees him fending off two men while standing on the bar. Arthur confronts them, only for the evening to dissolve into line dancing and blackouts. After relieving himself outside, Arthur returns to a saloon where every face seems to be Lenny's. Lenny finally finds him, and their reunion becomes a drunken slap fight.

Jeb returns and snatches Arthur's drink, prompting Arthur to seize him. Outside, Arthur and Lenny hold Jeb over a water trough until Jeb escapes or is knocked unconscious. Lawmen arrive and arrest Lenny while Arthur flees through Valentine. If Arthur gets away, he wakes hungover near Flatneck Station. If the law catches him, he and Lenny post bail at the Valentine jail, where Lenny vomits in the street before they part.

Trivia

  • โ—†When Arthur looks for Lenny whilst extremely drunk, one of the misspellings of Lenny's name on the messed-up button prompts is "Lemmy", which is possibly a reference to Lemmy Kilmister, the late frontman of English metal band Motรถrhead.

  • โ—†If Arthur opens the door when very drunk (when looking for Lenny for the third time) he will see Lenny's head and skin color superimposed over the couple and scream in terror before shutting the door. Doing this will complete one of the Gold Medal Objectives ("Catch Lenny in the act").
  • โ—†Jeb is later seen harassing Sadie in the Epilogue mission "Gainful Employment" - seems he never learns.
  • โ—†When riding into Valentine with Lenny, if the player antagonizes an NPC enough to make them hostile, Lenny will pull out his revolver and shoot them dead.
