Lenny volta a Horseshoe Overlook com a notícia de que Micah foi preso por assassinato em Strawberry e será enforcado pelo xerife Hanley. Dutch diz a Arthur Morgan que Micah terá de ser resolvido mais tarde e manda Arthur levar o nervoso Lenny para uma bebida tranquila. Arthur cavalga com Lenny até Valentine e entra no Smithfield's Saloon. No balcão, Jeb começa a provocá-los, mas Arthur o faz ir embora antes que os dois continuem bebendo.
A bebida deixa Arthur cada vez mais cambaleante, e Lenny some de vista diversas vezes. Arthur o encontra no andar de cima, equilibrando um copo de dose na testa, e depois o vê sobre o balcão, tentando afastar dois homens. Arthur os enfrenta, mas a noite se perde entre uma dança em fila e apagões. Depois de urinar do lado de fora, Arthur volta a um saloon onde todos parecem ser Lenny. Lenny enfim o encontra, e o reencontro vira uma briga de tapas entre bêbados.
Jeb volta e toma a bebida da mão de Arthur, que o agarra. Do lado de fora, Arthur e Lenny seguram Jeb sobre um bebedouro até ele escapar ou ficar inconsciente. Os homens da lei chegam, prendem Lenny e perseguem Arthur por Valentine. Se Arthur consegue fugir, acorda de ressaca perto de Flatneck Station. Se a lei o pega, ele e Lenny pagam fiança na cadeia de Valentine, onde Lenny vomita na rua antes de os dois se separarem.

- ◆When Arthur looks for Lenny whilst extremely drunk, one of the misspellings of Lenny's name on the messed-up button prompts is "Lemmy", which is possibly a reference to Lemmy Kilmister, the late frontman of English metal band Motörhead.
- ◆Other misspellings include:

- ◆If Arthur opens the door when very drunk (when looking for Lenny for the third time) he will see Lenny's head and skin color superimposed over the couple and scream in terror before shutting the door. Doing this will complete one of the Gold Medal Objectives ("Catch Lenny in the act").
- ◆Jeb is later seen harassing Sadie in the Epilogue mission "Gainful Employment" - seems he never learns.
- ◆When riding into Valentine with Lenny, if the player antagonizes an NPC enough to make them hostile, Lenny will pull out his revolver and shoot them dead.
