• ◆When Arthur looks for Lenny whilst extremely drunk, one of the misspellings of Lenny's name on the messed-up button prompts is "Lemmy", which is possibly a reference to Lemmy Kilmister, the late frontman of English metal band Motörhead.
• ◆Other misspellings include:
• ◆Lenny can become "Lennie", "Lennieh", "Lenneh", "Lneny" and "ynneL"
• ◆"Greet" can become "Gret", "Great", "Grate", "Crate" and "teerG".
• ◆"Bartender" becomes "Bratedner".
• ◆The Barber in Smithfield's Saloon will not be present during the mission.
• ◆The Deputy releasing Arthur and Lenny can only be seen during this mission.
• ◆After the mission, the Sheriff's Office will be locked and the player might become WANTED for "Trespassing" if they attempt to enter the building.
• ◆After the mission, the Sheriff may be seen carrying a Bolt Action Rifle, which is another way to obtain the weapon early in Chapter 2.

• ◆This mission is one of the very few missions that display full nudity in the game, which happens when Arthur sees a couple having sex if he opens the wrong door while looking for Lenny.
• ◆If Arthur opens the door when lightly drunk (while looking for Lenny for the first or second time) he will close it while apologizing to the angry couple and chuckling to himself.
• ◆If Arthur opens the door when very drunk (when looking for Lenny for the third time) he will see Lenny's head and skin color superimposed over the couple and scream in terror before shutting the door. Doing this will complete one of the Gold Medal Objectives ("Catch Lenny in the act").
• ◆Jeb is later seen harassing Sadie in the Epilogue mission "Gainful Employment" - seems he never learns.
• ◆When riding into Valentine with Lenny, if the player antagonizes an NPC enough to make them hostile, Lenny will pull out his revolver and shoot them dead.
