Lenny torna a Horseshoe Overlook con la notizia che Micah è stato arrestato per omicidio a Strawberry e rischia l'impiccagione per mano dello Sheriff Hanley. Dutch dice ad Arthur Morgan che di Micah dovranno occuparsi più tardi, poi gli ordina di portare a bere qualcosa il nervoso Lenny per calmarlo. Arthur raggiunge Valentine in sella con Lenny ed entra nello Smithfield's Saloon. Al bancone, Jeb comincia a provocarli, ma Arthur lo fa andar via prima che i due continuino a bere.
I drink lasciano Arthur sempre più instabile, mentre Lenny sparisce ripetutamente dalla sua vista. Arthur lo trova al piano di sopra mentre tiene in equilibrio un bicchierino sulla fronte, poi lo vede respingere due uomini in piedi sul bancone. Arthur li affronta, ma la serata finisce per trasformarsi in balli in fila e vuoti di memoria. Dopo aver urinato fuori, Arthur torna in un saloon dove ogni volto sembra essere quello di Lenny. Lenny alla fine lo trova e il loro incontro si trasforma in una sbronza rissa a schiaffi.
Jeb ritorna e gli strappa il drink di mano, spingendo Arthur ad afferrarlo. Fuori, Arthur e Lenny tengono Jeb sospeso sopra un abbeveratoio finché Jeb non riesce a scappare o viene messo KO. Arrivano gli uomini di legge e arrestano Lenny, mentre Arthur fugge attraverso Valentine. Se Arthur riesce a scappare, si risveglia con i postumi della sbornia vicino a Flatneck Station. Se la legge lo cattura, lui e Lenny pagano la cauzione alla prigione di Valentine, dove Lenny vomita in strada prima che si separino.

- ◆When Arthur looks for Lenny whilst extremely drunk, one of the misspellings of Lenny's name on the messed-up button prompts is "Lemmy", which is possibly a reference to Lemmy Kilmister, the late frontman of English metal band Motörhead.
- ◆Other misspellings include:
- ◆Lenny can become "Lennie", "Lennieh", "Lenneh", "Lneny" and "ynneL"
- ◆"Greet" can become "Gret", "Great", "Grate", "Crate" and "teerG".

- ◆If Arthur opens the door when lightly drunk (while looking for Lenny for the first or second time) he will close it while apologizing to the angry couple and chuckling to himself.
- ◆If Arthur opens the door when very drunk (when looking for Lenny for the third time) he will see Lenny's head and skin color superimposed over the couple and scream in terror before shutting the door. Doing this will complete one of the Gold Medal Objectives ("Catch Lenny in the act").
- ◆Jeb is later seen harassing Sadie in the Epilogue mission "Gainful Employment" - seems he never learns.
- ◆When riding into Valentine with Lenny, if the player antagonizes an NPC enough to make them hostile, Lenny will pull out his revolver and shoot them dead.
