O Shamal é um monoplano bimotor da Buckingham que mistura o formato de um jato executivo com a função de um avião regional de passageiros. Em Grand Theft Auto V, ele leva apenas uma pessoa e possui uma cabine totalmente modelada, com acabamento em couro marrom e bege. Surge somente na cor Ice White, com as marcas MyFly, Air Emu, Air Herler ou FlyUS. As faixas das companhias cobrem a fuselagem, os winglets, os motores e a cauda.
Ele pode ser comprado na Elitás Travel por $1,150,000. Há Shamals estacionados em Los Santos International Airport, inclusive ao lado de um Luxor no setor sudeste e ao norte das pistas, perto do hangar de Devin Weston. Exemplares controlados pela IA pousam na pista norte e podem parar perto dos Jets ou diante do hangar de Michael. Um avião raro também pode aparecer sobre Palomino Highlands ou Lake Vinewood, mas não pode ser tomado.
Os dois motores tornam o Shamal, em geral, mais rápido que aviões a hélice, e seus controles equilibrados e responsivos facilitam os pousos em pistas. Ele faz curvas fechadas e aileron rolls rápidos, servindo para corridas e manobras aéreas nas mãos de um piloto capaz. Em Caida Libre, um Shamal da Air Emu, já danificado durante a perseguição da missão, cai perto da Senora Freeway. O destroço fica com a porta de acesso desprendida, a asa direita avariada e o motor esquerdo exposto.

- ◆The Shamal and the Luxor cannot be bought as Trevor, because Trevor's hangar is unable to fit these jets.
- ◆Despite the plane being able to sit 10 people including the pilot in Online mode, it cannot sit more than 2 people in singleplayer. If one reunites all three protagonists and enters a Shamal, one of the two will sit next to the player and the third will stand out of the plane.
- ◆The Shamal's real life counterpart is revealed in the files for the audio of Caida Libre, where it is named "lear_jet".
- ◆In the enhanced version of the game, the Shamal was changed after the After Hours update. For reasons unknown, every livery for the Shamal with the exception of MyFly were removed, resulting in a contradiction in Caida Libre where an Air Emu livery Shamal is meant to appear instead. These liveries were restored with the following update, Arena War, claiming they were accidentally removed.
