Kurt, Red Dead Redemption 2'de Canis lupus'u temsil eder ve Gray Wolf, Timber Wolf ile Legendary Wolf türlerinde görülür. Geniş burunlu, kısa kulaklı, kısa gövdeli ve uzun kuyruklu, iri fakat ince yapılı bir köpekgildir. Çakal ve tilkilere kıyasla daha büyük ve ağırdır. It is recommended for the player to either find higher ground (such as a boulder) and wait for the them to settle down and retreat, or hit them with a poisoned arrow or throwing knife and then study them after they collapse and then finish them off.
