The Nagasaki Buzzard Attack Chopper is a compact, five-bladed light attack helicopter with room for two people. Its short fuselage, bubble canopy, stub wings, exposed rear bay and skids follow the form of a light observation helicopter adapted for combat. In Grand Theft Auto V and Grand Theft Auto Online, it appears in black on naturally generated examples, though other colours are available.
The Buzzard Attack Chopper carries pilot-operated twin miniguns and rocket launchers. Its rockets can lock onto police vehicles and aircraft. The helicopter is issued to military and law enforcement forces, making it suited to armed air support as well as rapid travel. Its small profile also lets it land in confined places where larger helicopters have more difficulty.
It can be found at the military base, or on the roof of the government research facility. The Buzzard Attack Chopper is priced at $2,000,000. It remains quick and highly maneuverable against other helicopters, reaching about 135 knots, though it loses altitude at full speed. Its skids keep it stable over uneven ground, and it does not easily lose its balance when landing.

- โThe name "Buzzard" may be a reference to the "Buzzard 1" callsign for the Police Maverick helicopter, heard during the GTA San Andreas mission, "Reuniting the Families".
- โThe name may also be a reference to the AH/MH-6 Little Bird Attack Helicopter, as a Buzzard is a type of bird.
- โDespite the description saying it "hardly falls like a stone from the sky", ironically it is destroyed numerous times throughout the GTA V story.
- โSimilar to the P-996 LAZER and Savage, when controlled by NPCs, the Buzzard Attack Chopper can move its miniguns in any direction, both vertically and laterally.
- โThe cheat code used to spawn the Buzzard Attack Chopper is the same cheat used to spawn the Rhino tank in GTA Vice City and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, with a few button modifications.
- โThe front-mounted spotlight can be moved depending of where the player is looking, having a fast rotation speed. It is noticeable when switching to the cinematic camera, where the same device could keep its direction.
- โThis is absent in the Enhanced version, although one can still see the spotlight moving when customizing the Buzzard Attack Chopper at the Hangar.
