Buzzard

The Nagasaki Buzzard is a four-seat light patrol helicopter in Grand Theft Auto V and Grand Theft Auto Online. It is the unarmed counterpart to the Buzzard Attack Chopper, without its stub wings or rear ammunition box. Finished in black, it carries the registration "N230MP" and has a small central flight instrument panel. The design is intended for Los Santos Police Department service, and NOOSE also operates it.

A camera and searchlight are fitted beneath the Buzzard, although the searchlight remains fixed rather than tracking a target. Its rear-mounted engine drives a five-bladed main rotor, giving it rapid ascent and a high-pitched rotor sound. It matches the Buzzard Attack Chopper's speed and agile handling, while offering greater stability and quicker yaw and pitch response. There are no mounted weapons, but passengers can fire their own weapons from the helicopter.

In Grand Theft Auto V, Buzzards may appear in South Los Santos, Rancho and on Davis Avenue, or on police-station roofs near the Towing Impound Lot and in Mission Row. They occasionally patrol South Los Santos at night, fly along the Los Santos River by day, and pursue wanted players with NOOSE crews. In Grand Theft Auto Online, they also patrol or appear on police stations, and a Motorcycle Club Road Captain can request one for club use for $1,000. It is used in Air Freight Cargo jobs, Nightclub flyer drops, Survivals, heist preparations and enemy pursuits.
