Tailgater

The Obey Tailgater is a midsize, four-door saloon in the Sedans class, seating four. Its styling draws from several real-world luxury saloons: it has a tapering chrome-edged grille, projector-style headlamps, curved bodywork and pronounced lower side bulges. A chrome strip joins the rear lamps above a bumper with a plastic lower section, while rectangular exhaust outlets sit at either side. Its long D-pillars and thin window pillars give the cabin a formal profile.

For a sedan, the Tailgater performs close to many sports cars. Its acceleration and top speed are above average, allowing it to keep pace with vehicles such as the Exemplar and F620. It grips well at low and moderate speed, though it tends to understeer in faster corners unless slowed with the brakes. The body is durable and withstands repeated impacts before the engine smokes or its wheels are disabled.

In Grand Theft Auto V, a Tailgater can be taken from Premium Deluxe Motorsport after Complications. Two are left at the hangar during Eye in the Sky, and Franklin drives a red one after The Big Score. Michael De Santa owns a black Tailgater for most of the story. In Grand Theft Auto Online, it was sold by Southern San Andreas Super Autos for $55,000 before being removed from that website in the enhanced versions, and it can appear at Simeon's requested-vehicle locations, including Galileo Observatory, Los Santos Golf Club and Del Perro Pier.
