Utility Truck

The Brute Utility Truck is a two-seat heavy utility truck that appears in Grand Theft Auto V and Grand Theft Auto Online. It is a service vehicle operated by Jonny Shapiro Gas Specialist. Its large chassis is derived from the Stockade, sharing its grille, headlights, cowl and mirrors, but the simpler cab, windshield and bumper give it a less armored, work-focused appearance.

The rear body can take several mutually exclusive service configurations. These include side cabinets around a rear bed, a low platform with storage and tied-down boards, or a large cabinet box. Some versions carry equipment such as cable spools, pipes, ladders, buckets or a wheelbarrow, while a roof rack may add ladders and pipes. The truck is especially common in industrial Los Santos County and Blaine County, including Murrieta Heights, La Mesa and Cypress Flats.

It also appears around oil derricks and sometimes near Mission Row, Textile City and Strawberry. It rarely turns up near Paleto Bay on the Great Ocean Highway. The Utility Truck has average acceleration and an adequate top speed, with enough power to retain speed after collisions. It does not match a Phantom or Packer, but its protected engine and fuel tank make it durable for ramming other vehicles.
