Special Carbine Mk II

The Vom Feuer Special Carbine Mk II is a fully automatic 5.56mm assault rifle introduced to GTA Online with The Doomsday Heist. It is the Mk II conversion of the Special Carbine, retaining much of that weapon's layout while adopting an altered handguard, a seemingly shorter barrel, a revised upper rail with smaller iron sights, and an L-shaped lightweight stock. Its overall form closely resembles an assault rifle.

Rather than being collected at a fixed map location, the Special Carbine Mk II is made at a Weapon Workshop by converting a Special Carbine for $135,000. The standard magazine holds 40 rounds. The workshop conversion also opens Mk II ammunition types: Tracer, Incendiary, Armor Piercing and Full Metal Jacket. These specialised magazines reduce capacity to 20 rounds.

With damage rated at 34, the Special Carbine Mk II slightly improves on the regular Special Carbine without changing its rate of fire. Its damage per second is second among assault rifles, behind the Bullpup Rifle Mk II and ahead of the Carbine Rifle Mk II and Assault Rifle Mk II. It remains accurate with little spread during automatic fire. A Heavy Barrel preserves more damage at long range, while the specialised rounds cover fire, armour, vehicles and bullet-resistant windows.
