Player notes
Demi the Cougar is a rare cougar in Red Dead Redemption's Liars and Cheats DLC. She appears only in Free Roam at the Silent Stead hunting ground, rather than in the game's single-player mode.
At Silent Stead, Demi arrives after every wave of cougars at the hunting ground has been killed. She usually appears alongside two to five ordinary cougars, making her the final rare animal encounter in the sequence.
Demi withstands heavy damage compared with the regular cougars around her. Even powerful firearms such as the Semi-auto Shotgun and Buffalo Rifle do not bring her down quickly, so the hunt can require a substantial supply of ammunition.
Trivia
- โIf the player goes onto the roof or inside of the shack in the center of the hunting grounds, the cougars, including Demi, cannot reach them.
