Keifer the Wolf

Keifer the Wolf is a rare wolf in Red Dead Redemption, available only through the Liars and Cheats DLC. He appears during Free Roam at the Rio del Lobo hunting ground, where he is treated as a rare spawn rather than one of the ordinary wolves encountered in the area.

Keifer arrives only after every wave of wolves at Rio del Lobo has been killed. He is usually accompanied by two to five regular wolves, so the encounter begins with Keifer among a remaining pack instead of with him alone on the hunting ground.

Compared with regular wolves, Keifer withstands far more damage. Even powerful weapons such as the Semi-auto Shotgun and Buffalo Rifle do not bring him down quickly. He functions as the rare, legendary wolf encounter tied to the Rio del Lobo hunting ground in Liars and Cheats.
