The Muskie, also called the Muskellunge, is a long, slender predatory fish in Red Dead Redemption 2 and Red Dead Online. It inhabits northern lakes and is caught as part of the game's fishing wildlife.
Muskies are found at Lake Isabella in Grizzlies West, Calumet Ravine and O'Creagh's Run in Grizzlies East, and Owanjila in Big Valley. They also inhabit the Kamassa River and Lannahechee River in Roanoke Ridge. Legends tell of a monster Muskie off the Roanoke Ridge coast.
The fish ignores food baits and responds best to Lake Lures, which improve the chance of a catch. Muskies are more active under cloudy, overcast skies. Catching one provides Flaky Fish Meat.
