The Toad is an animal species in Red Dead Redemption 2 with two variations: the Sonoran Desert Toad, Incilius alvarius, and the Western Toad, Anaxyrus boreas. The Sonoran Desert Toad is confined to the Río Bravo and San Luis River area, while the Western Toad has a wider distribution.
Toads live near most major waterways. Western Toads occur in Bayou Nwa, Bluewater Marsh, the southern and central Dakota River, the eastern island of Flat Iron Lake, Grizzlies East, O'Creagh's Run, Lower Montana River, Roanoke Ridge, the northern Kamassa River, The Heartlands, Heartland Overflow and Guarma.
The Sonoran Desert Toad is found only around Río Bravo and the San Luis River. Toads provide Herptile Meat and a Toad Carcass when collected.
