Player notes
Wilbur the Boar is a rare boar available with the Liars and Cheats DLC. He is encountered only in Free Roam at the Broken Tree hunting ground, where he is part of the area's boar hunt rather than an animal found across the wider map.
The Broken Tree encounter begins with waves of regular boar. Wilbur appears only after every one of those waves has been killed, usually alongside two to five ordinary boar. He therefore arrives as the rare final animal in the hunting ground's boar encounter.
Wilbur absorbs heavy punishment, even from weapons such as the Semi-auto Shotgun and Buffalo Rifle, and has durability comparable to Gordo. Dead Eye can be used to target him with a Springfield Rifle or Bolt Action Rifle. His role is that of a particularly tough rare quarry at Broken Tree.
Trivia
- โThe name Wilbur probably refers to the main character in the book Charlotte's Web, who is a pig.
- โWilbur uses the same model as Gordo, another legendary boar. Even though, Gordo's tusks are slightly longer and are more yellowed than Wilbur's.
