Cuando Trevor Philips termina Fair Game para Cletus Ewing, la caza queda disponible en Chiliad Mountain State Wilderness. Durante las horas de luz, Trevor se dirige al remolque de caza situado en esa zona salvaje para iniciar una sesión. Se pone su atuendo de caza y dispone del reclamo animal de Cletus y de un Sniper Rifle con munición ilimitada mientras dura la jornada. Fuera del remolque hay un Blazer para recorrer el terreno.
Trevor sigue el rastro de la fauna de la zona, usa el reclamo para atraer animales y se mantiene a sotavento para que no detecten su olor. Allí puede cazar elk, coyotes, boars, cougars y aves. Cletus paga según la especie y la forma de abatirla, y los disparos certeros al corazón, cuello o cabeza de un elk dan más dinero que los impactos mal colocados. Durante la sesión, Trevor también puede realizar desafíos de Master Hunter, Weapon Master y Nature Photographer.
Después de cada muerte, Trevor fotografía el cadáver con su teléfono y manda la imagen a Cletus. Cletus responde con el pago, y otros contactos del teléfono pueden reaccionar a las fotografías. Al acercarse el final de la luz del día, Cletus le avisa que queda poco tiempo y luego le comunica que la caza ha terminado por esa jornada. Trevor vuelve al remolque de Chiliad Mountain State Wilderness.

- ◆In the Ammu-Nation in San Andreas the player can hear the advertising speaker talk about anti-materiel rifles for hunting with the famous punchline: "You don't need to clean the deer when it's already been minced!".
- ◆As in Red Dead Redemption, using very powerful weapons such as the rocket launcher or minigun may damage the animal so one couldn't skin it. Even if the animal can still be pictured, Cletus will pay much less if powerful weapons are used (except in the case of heart shots).
- ◆Although Cletus may ask Trevor if he can kill a female deer, he will still remind him not to kill any if a picture of a dead one is sent to him, and will tell Trevor to consider himself lucky in regards to his payment.
- ◆One can send the photographed kill to almost anyone in the protagonist's contacts list on the cellphone, and they will text back. Depending on the contact, the responses are either specific from the character, or randomized, generic ones.

Trevor will tell Cletus that he's helping out the "organic food movement". Impressed, Cletus will tell Trevor to hunt more animals.
