Depois que Trevor Philips conclui Fair Game para Cletus Ewing, a atividade de caça fica disponível na Chiliad Mountain State Wilderness. Durante o dia, Trevor vai até o trailer de caça na região selvagem para iniciar uma sessão. Ele veste o traje de caça e recebe acesso ao chamado de animais de Cletus e a um Sniper Rifle com munição ilimitada enquanto a caçada dura. Um Blazer fica estacionado do lado de fora para levá-lo pela área.
Trevor rastreia a fauna do terreno de caça, usando o chamado para atrair os animais e permanecendo a favor do vento para que eles não sintam seu cheiro. Elk, coyotes, boars, cougars e aves podem ser caçados ali. Cletus paga conforme a espécie e a forma da morte, e tiros precisos no coração, pescoço ou cabeça de um elk rendem mais do que disparos mal colocados. Trevor também pode cumprir desafios de Master Hunter, Weapon Master e Nature Photographer.
Após cada abate, Trevor fotografa a carcaça com o celular e envia a imagem para Cletus. Cletus responde com o pagamento, enquanto outros contatos do telefone podem reagir às fotos. Quando o dia está terminando, Cletus avisa que a sessão está quase no fim e depois informa que a caça acabou por aquele dia. Trevor retorna ao trailer na Chiliad Mountain State Wilderness.

- ◆In the Ammu-Nation in San Andreas the player can hear the advertising speaker talk about anti-materiel rifles for hunting with the famous punchline: "You don't need to clean the deer when it's already been minced!".
- ◆As in Red Dead Redemption, using very powerful weapons such as the rocket launcher or minigun may damage the animal so one couldn't skin it. Even if the animal can still be pictured, Cletus will pay much less if powerful weapons are used (except in the case of heart shots).
- ◆Although Cletus may ask Trevor if he can kill a female deer, he will still remind him not to kill any if a picture of a dead one is sent to him, and will tell Trevor to consider himself lucky in regards to his payment.
- ◆One can send the photographed kill to almost anyone in the protagonist's contacts list on the cellphone, and they will text back. Depending on the contact, the responses are either specific from the character, or randomized, generic ones.

Trevor will tell Cletus that he's helping out the "organic food movement". Impressed, Cletus will tell Trevor to hunt more animals.
- ◆If the picture of the dead animal is taken and sent to Cletus while Trevor is using a vehicle (such as the Blazer next to the trailer), that will also count.
