Po ukończeniu Fair Game dla Cletusa Ewinga Trevor Philips może polować w Chiliad Mountain State Wilderness. Za dnia Trevor jedzie do myśliwskiej przyczepy na terenie dziczy, aby rozpocząć sesję. Zakłada strój myśliwski i na czas polowania otrzymuje dostęp do wabika Cletusa oraz Sniper Rifle z nieograniczoną amunicją. Przed przyczepą stoi Blazer, którym może przemieszczać się po okolicy.
Trevor tropi zwierzęta na łowisku, używa wabika, aby je zwabić, i pilnuje kierunku wiatru, żeby nie wyczuły jego zapachu. Może tam polować na elk, coyote, boar, cougar i ptaki. Cletus płaci zależnie od gatunku oraz sposobu zabicia zwierzęcia, a celne strzały w serce, szyję lub głowę elka przynoszą więcej niż źle ulokowane trafienia. W trakcie polowania Trevor może też wykonywać wyzwania Master Hunter, Weapon Master i Nature Photographer.
Po każdym zabiciu Trevor fotografuje tuszę telefonem i wysyła zdjęcie Cletusowi. Cletus odpowiada, przekazując zapłatę, a inni kontakty w telefonie mogą reagować na fotografie. Gdy dzień dobiega końca, Cletus ostrzega, że do końca sesji zostało niewiele czasu, po czym informuje o zakończeniu polowania na ten dzień. Trevor wraca do przyczepy w Chiliad Mountain State Wilderness.

- ◆In the Ammu-Nation in San Andreas the player can hear the advertising speaker talk about anti-materiel rifles for hunting with the famous punchline: "You don't need to clean the deer when it's already been minced!".
- ◆As in Red Dead Redemption, using very powerful weapons such as the rocket launcher or minigun may damage the animal so one couldn't skin it. Even if the animal can still be pictured, Cletus will pay much less if powerful weapons are used (except in the case of heart shots).
- ◆Although Cletus may ask Trevor if he can kill a female deer, he will still remind him not to kill any if a picture of a dead one is sent to him, and will tell Trevor to consider himself lucky in regards to his payment.
- ◆One can send the photographed kill to almost anyone in the protagonist's contacts list on the cellphone, and they will text back. Depending on the contact, the responses are either specific from the character, or randomized, generic ones.

Trevor will tell Cletus that he's helping out the "organic food movement". Impressed, Cletus will tell Trevor to hunt more animals.
