Parachute Jumps

Parachute Jumps open after Franklin Clinton completes Dom Beasley's Risk Assessment. Michael De Santa, Franklin and Trevor Philips can take part in fifteen challenges, divided into Helicopter Jumps and BASE Jumps. Helicopter events begin beside a Maverick, usually flown by Jeff Chartier, which takes the chosen protagonist to the release point. BASE events begin at a parachute pickup, either at the foot of a structure or at a high vantage point, before placing the jumper at the starting edge.

In a Helicopter Jump, the protagonist leaves the Maverick and steers towards a marked landing target, with optional checkpoints placed along some routes. Pacific Tour ends on a moving Squalo near Vespucci Beach. Other flights descend over East Vinewood and Vinewood Racetrack in Photo Finish, the RON Alternates Wind Farm in Turbine Terror, and a train in Raton Canyon during Runaway Train. Carving the Mountain crosses Mount Chiliad, The Fall of the Alamo passes over the Alamo Sea, and Dammed If You Don't runs above Land Act Reservoir and Land Act Dam.

BASE Jumps send the protagonist from Los Santos towers, cranes and canyon outcrops towards targets below. Bank Bailout begins atop Maze Bank Tower with a Bati 800 ride off the roof before the parachute opens over Alta Street. What Goes Up... ends on a moving flatbed Hauler, while Falling Mouse drops through Raton Canyon. Aim for the Fairway descends from West Vinewood to Los Santos Country Club. Once the jumps are complete, only Franklin can begin Uncalculated Risk.
