Cablecar

The Cablecar is a cable vehicle in the Trains class, with room for one occupant. It is a non-controllable train designed as a suspended passenger capsule. Its body is a plain rectangular steel structure, finished in worn white or grey and light blue. Sliding doors open automatically on both long sides, while windows run around the cabin.

The capsule has pillarless corners for an uninterrupted view outside. A lamp sits above each end, although neither operates at night. Its roof carries an exposed tubular frame with diagonal bracing and a small tilting pulley assembly. The pulley adjusts to the suspended tram cable as the car travels along the line.

The vehicle is intended for the Pala Springs Aerial Tramway. In the game world, however, that tramway uses a prop version instead of the Cablecar train itself. The prop closely resembles the vehicle, differing only in minor design details.
