Dock Handler

The HVY Dock Handler is an Industrial-class dock handler, or reach stacker, in Grand Theft Auto V and Grand Theft Auto Online. It is a large forklift-style heavy truck built to lift and move shipping containers. A raised cab sits above the engine area, with access platforms and a ladder on its left side. Its front structure carries two hydraulic arms that support an overhead magnetic loader, which grips containers from above. The cab has a rear-hinged door, while the body and rear carry red and white warning markings.

The Dock Handler usually appears in light gray, though blue and yellow examples can also be found. Its industrial wheels and tall loading frame suit container yards rather than ordinary roads. It is slow, heavy and difficult to manoeuvre at speed, with rear-wheel steering and a broad turning circle. The high crane structure can strike bridges and overhead signs on freeways. Its engine drives the front wheels and produces the low-revving diesel sound used by many trucks.

Dock Handlers spawn around the docks, including a dock near Los Santos International Airport and Maze Bank Arena, where they are used to carry containers. In Scouting the Port, Trevor and Floyd Hebert operate one while posing as dock workers at the Port of Los Santos. Ordered to shift two containers during their survey of a Merryweather ship, they use the Handler to place them where the dock worker directs. It also appears near containers in A Titan of a Job and during The E.C.U Job finale if the Freight Train reaches its destination.
